2009 Northeast Alabama State Fair

Welcome to the official site of the 48th Annual Northeast Alabama State Fair sponsored by the Huntsville Jaycees and Kissel Entertainment. Since 1962, the Huntsville Jaycees have worked hard to provide the citizens of Huntsville and all of North Alabama with a fun, family oriented Fair. This years Fair offers something for everyone both young and young at heart.

NEW this year - on September 5th we will have the Alabama vs. Virginia Tech football game in HD on a giant 20ft screen provided by AMERICA’S PARTY PRO’S.

Back by popular demand we are proud to present the Fearless Flores Motorcycle Thrill Show. This high action show features “death defying” motorcycle acts including the “Globe of Death”. The Flores are sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

A few of our feature family shows include the new “Wild West Follies” and the award winning magic of Russell Davis. These shows encourage audience participation so get involved and have some fun. We also have many contests including 2 nights of Karaoke and a Root Beer Chugging Contest.

Also returning for 2009 is the T & N Acres Petting Zoo. This zoo features a wide variety of exotic animals along with many domestic animals for you to get up close with and feed. It also features a pony ride area that children can experience for a small charge.

Finally, we are proud to welcome back Kissel Entertainment for their 13th straight year at the Northeast Alabama State Fair. Kissel is an industry leader in carnival ride safety and they consistently provide a safe, clean, family type atmosphere that you are sure to enjoy.
